The Basic Education Women in Leadership Conference, held on 22–23 August 2025 at Lagoon Beach Hotel & Spa, Cape Town, was a truly transformative gathering under the theme “Leading Beyond Boundaries: Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges.”

The two-day event brought together exceptional women leaders from schools, government, higher education, and the private sector to share experiences, strategies, and innovations shaping the future of education in South Africa. Keynote sessions explored inclusive education, transformative leadership, and technology-driven change, while interactive workshops and panels provided practical insights into mentorship, gender equity, and sustainable collaboration.
